What is Xenses?

Xenses is the new Park from Experiencias Xcaret group. It is the only recreational half-day park in the destination, designed so you can rediscover the power of your senses and your mind, through 15 sensory activities.

What can I do at Xenses?

At Xenses you can live attractions especially designed to awaken each of your senses. Tour two circuits with multiple activities, such as the Xensatorium where you can get to know different ecosystems through your senses. At The Eden and The Breather marvel at the beauty of nature. Test your balance in Townville. Whizz through the air with Bird Flight to land in the refreshing waters of a cenote. Slide down at full speed on the Tobogán and cover yourself in fun at Sludgerie. Xenses is located between our sister Parks Xcaret and Xplor on Federal Highway Chetumal-Puerto Juárez km 282, Solidaridad, Playa del Carmen, Q. Roo 77710.

Xenses is located 46 miles from Cancun and 3.5 miles from Playa del Carmen.

How much is the admission to Xenses?

Adults admission only: $59 USD.
Admission + round trip transportation from Cancun (Tour): $89 USD
Admission + round trip transportation from Playa del Carmen: $79 USD. Children 0 to 5 years old get in FREE. Children 5 to 11 get half off the adult ticket price. Must present valid official ID at the Park’s ticket booths.

Is there a special kid’s price?

Child admission from 5 to 11 years: $29.50 USD. Child admission + round trip transportation from Cancun (Tour): $44.50 USD
Child admission + round trip transportation from Playa del Carmen $39.50 USD. Children 0 to 5 years old get in FREE. Must present valid official ID at the Park’s ticket booths. Children under 12 but taller than 4.5 ft must present an ID to verify their age.

What does the admission include?

Your admission to the Park includes two circuits with 17 sensory activities that you will carry out during your half-day visit. This allows you to make the most of your stay in the Riviera Maya. Remember that food and beverage and photography services are not included.

How long does it take?

Xenses is a half-day Park, with an approximate duration of 5 hours. Choose one of the following schedules that best suits your style:

  • Arrival between: 8:30 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. / Departure between 2:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.
  • Arrival between: 8:30 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. / Departure between 2:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.

Does it include food? Do I need to arrive having had breakfast or lunch already?

It is better if you have already had breakfast or lunch before your visit to the Park. If you get hungry, at Xenses you can buy snacks and drinks to recharge your energy. Remember that this service is not included in your admission.

Will there be vegetarian or gluten-free food?

Taste is an important sense and not to be overlooked. At the moment we do have vegetarian options as part of our snacks. Expect more options soon.

Water is a key element that gives life to this magical region, so use it to your advantage and soak up the fun!

Must I know how to swim?

The Tobogán and Bird Flight activities include water areas with a depth between 3.6 and 4.2 ft. It is recommended that for these activities, children under 4.2 ft tall who can’t swim be accompanied by their parents at all times.

What should I wear to Xenses?

Wear comfortable clothes and shoes, suitable for water and hot weather. Bring a bathing suit, water shoes or sandals, a towel and a change of clothes.

Can I bring my camera? Will there be photos? Will the Photopass be?

TWe recommend that you leave your camera or cell phone in the lockers, as they could be damaged during certain activities. Selfie sticks are not allowed. We have strategic autofoto points, guaranteeing you the best shots from unbelievable angles. Remember that this service is not included in your admission.

What is the minimum age to enter the Park?

At Xenses all will have fun and all are welcome. We recommended a minimum age of 5 years old, and consult the height and weight guidelines for the activities that require it.

What days is it open? What are the hours?

Xenses is a half-day Park, open Monday to Saturday, with two perfect schedules that allow you to discover this magical place and still enjoy the enchanting beauty of the state of Quintana Roo.

  • Arrival between: 8:30 a.m. & 10:00 a.m. / Departure between 2:00 p.m. & 3:00 p.m.
  • Arrival between: 1:00 p.m. & 2:00 p.m. / Departure between 6:00 p.m. & 7:00 p.m.

Will persons with disabilities, wheelchairs or senior citizens be able to enter the Park?

At Xenses all are welcome, however, due to its operation, some activities do not have the characteristics necessary for the use or access of people in wheelchairs or with disabilities.

Will there be discounts for persons with disabilities, wheelchairs or senior citizens?

We gladly provide a special discount to elderly people who have existing credentials with INSEN & INAPAM. We also have a discount for people with disabilities, which can be validated at the Park’s ticket booths.

Can I go if I’m pregnant?

At Xenses you can always find something you can enjoy, however, there are some activities that we recommend not performing. The Bird Flight activity is not permitted for pregnant women.

Will there be a discount for Quintana Roo residents?

Have on hand your official identification and enjoy a 50% discount on regular admission or Tour. In the case of minors it will be necessary to present the school credentials residing in Quintana Roo and photo, or photo report card.

The season will not matter, we will honor the same prices all year long.

Can I change the date of my visit?

Yes, you can change your visit to another date within one year from the date of purchase on your ticket. This change is valid if made at least 24 hours in advance. Changes are not allowed to be made on the date of your visit.

Can I arrive by car? Is there parking?

Yes, you can get here in your car and leave it in our parking lot free of charge. We also recommend taking advantage of our Tour option, with departures from the comfort of your hotel from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. or from 12:00 to 1:00 p.m., depending on the location of your hotel.

Generales

  • If you suffer from heart problems, epilepsy, asthma, claustrophobia, hypertension or diabetes, please refrain from doing the activities. Children must always be accompanied by their parents, who should consult the guidelines of weight and height to perform certain activities.

Bird Flight

This activity is recommended for children 5 years and older, as long as the harness fits them properly. It is not advisable if you have any recent surgeries (less than 6 months), heart conditions, asthma, epilepsy, diabetes, high or low blood pressure, back problems, hernias, or if you are pregnant.

Xensatorium

If you suffer from claustrophobia, epilepsy, asthma, hypertension, diabetes, or have a heart history, anxiety disorders or nervous system disorders, avoid performing this activity.
